Self-initiated projects done during the lockdown period. During this post-graduation, quiet season, I decided to improve my illustration skills with my university friends.
Wobbly_Easels
An Instagram page created by my friends and me, motivated by wanting a competitive platform to allow us to constantly improve our illustrative works. The theme of these pieces: Song lyrics, art prompts and observation-based drawings.
Personal work
I have also done a few illustrative works in my own time, so I can put my newly-found knowledge to the test.
Painting field trips
Asides from Wobbly_Easels, I have also requested my friends to head out to draw. By breaking away from the repeated usage of internet images for references, we are better able to create more unique pieces.
Tutorial making
A few of my friends have been facing difficulties in painting. I have made a few tutorials to help ease their struggles.
Master studies
Of course, I am not the best artist out there, so keep studying. I recreate famous classical paintings to understand how these masters manipulate shapes, colour and lighting to create the masterpieces.
